Frank Chu is the Chairman of Teczo.com. Frank has more than 30 years of experience in the
technology sector in North America. His fields of expertise include electrical energy systems and technology
R&D management. Frank served Ontario Hydro, one of the Canada's largest power utilities, for more than two
decades as VP of New Product Development, Director of Strategic R&D, Manager of electrical systems and
Section Head of sciences and technologies. Frank has also consulted for various governments, government
agencies and firms and is on the board of directors of several technology startups.
Frank is affiliated with many international technical and review committees, including a past vice-chairmanship
at the International Energy Agency (IEA) Superconductor Application Assessment Committee, senior membership at
the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), as well as various memberships and technical
panel memberships at the US Department of Energy (DOE), Innovation Council of Canada, Canadian Electrical
Association (CEA) and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Frank is also on the advisory panel for
Ryerson Polytechnic University, a courtesy industry professor for the University of Florida and a Consulting
Professor with China's Wuhan University.
Frank earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a PhD
from M.I.T. and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the Canadian National Research Council. Furthermore,
Frank has 4 patents, 68 publications in trade and referred journals and is co-author of 2 books.
Chief Executive Officer - Chi Ho Wong
Chi Ho Wong is the CEO and founder of Teczo.com. During his time at Silicon Valley, Chi Ho
witnessed the great advancements of modern technology - the increase in speed and spread of the Internet
and the rise of computational power and storage abilities of computers. He envisioned a business model
that takes full advantages of these advancements - flexible, comprehensive, customizable yet cost-effective
on-demand services that could be utilized anywhere by the user with a PC and Internet access. Sharing his
visions with fellow Stanford graduate Tommy Tsai, the two transformed visions into reality - Teczo.com was
born.
Markedly multi-talented, Chi Ho displayed resourcefulness and entrepreneurial shrewdness at an early age,
even before attending college, providing valuable advice to IT companies (including one that eventually
became publicly listed). Chi Ho has over 15 years of programming experience, and his areas of expertise
include chip design, economics, finance, supply chain management and smartcard security and technologies.
Residing in Silicon Valley, Chi Ho has previously worked for IT giants Nvidia, Sun Microsystems and
Motorola spin-off Freescale. He also had consulting experiences for Nokia and Circuit City and held
a research position at the University of Michigan, working under interim chairman Richard B. Brown.
Chi Ho earned his master's degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
He also holds a master's degree and bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, both in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Michigan. Chi Ho is honored with the William J. Branstrom Prize and James B.
Angell award. He has passed the CFA Program Level III exam.
Chief Technical Officer - Tommy Tsai
Tommy Tsai is the CTO and founder of Teczo.com. As the CTO, Tommy's expertise in architecting
scalable server applications, agile development principles, entrepreneurial abilities and immense knowledge
of the IT industry are vital to the success of Teczo.com.
In Silicon Valley, Tommy held engineering and advisory positions at various software companies, most
recently having served as Director of Engineering at Loopt, a Silicon Valley start-up company that
operates a mobile social network and geo-targeted content discovery engine. Prior to Loopt, Tommy
worked for Ning, Adobe, Freescale and several other Silicon Valley startups.
Tommy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Stanford
University. An academic high-flyer, he received the prestigious Frederick Emmons Terman Award; a
President's Award for Academic Excellence; and was a member of Engineering Honor Society Tau Beta
Pi. At Stanford, Tommy worked on several consumer-focused software projects, one of which earned
him awards from software industry giants, such as Google, VMware and Intuit.
Vice President, Information Security - Andrew Chan
Andrew Chan is the Vice President for information Security of Teczo.com. An expert in
cryptography and information security, Andrew has the duty of keeping the Teczo.com platform safe and secured to use.
Prior to joining Teczo.com, Andrew was the head of the Cryptography Department for a public IT company.
During his five years stay in this company, Andrew developed and enhanced a number of secured smart
card operating systems, one of which sold millions of units to several countries, and was used in
applications such as banking transactions, e-purse, automatic fare collection, casinos and government
digital certificate projects. Andrew was also a research and teaching assistant in the University
of Toronto, in the areas of elliptical curve cryptology and information security.
Andrew earned his Master of Applied Science degree in Cryptography from the University of Toronto.
He also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with distinction, in Computer Engineering from
the University of Toronto.
Vice President, Global Sales - Kit Wong
Kit Wong is the Vice President for Global Sales. Kit joined Teczo.com in October, 2008 and has
the objective of expanding the company's global sales and achieving great customer satisfaction by
advancing the company's strategy of offering a powerful enterprise collaboration platform to customers.
Before joining Teczo.com, he was engaged in management positions in several companies in the IT and service
industry, particularly in the music industry where he organized and co-organized various music performances.
Kit is a gifted musician and spent years working in the music industry primarily as a composer, publishing
numerous music pieces, as well as making public performances. Kit's unique experience - with the creative,
talented, and practical achievements aided him in the creation of novel and effective sales strategies to
serve Teczo.com's diversified base of customers located in various places around the globe.
Kit earned his bachelor’s degree (double major) from the University of Michigan, and graduated cum laude, in Psychology and Economics
Vice President, Database Management System - René Wierenga
René Wierenga is the Vice President for Database Management System. Some of René's current responsibilities
include the design and operation of the servers, networks and datacenters that power Teczo.com.
Previously, René has worked in the Netherlands for Exact Software B.V. (now Exact Holding NV),
one of the largest software companies in the world whose core products include ERP, CRM and payroll
automation software. René was a major contributor to the development of software for the Dutch
payroll-market.
René earned his two bachelor degrees from the Hanze University Groningen, in the Netherlands: one degree
in Electronics and Information Technology; and another in Computer Science.
